Our series of diversity education videos feature kids
talking about their physical and health differences and
showing that they're just like other kids. They focus on
differences rather than handicaps and disabilities. These
programs are designed to promote understanding and
acceptance among young people. Each award-winning video is
appropriate for families, schools, health care
organizations, hospitals and community groups. We are proud
to announce that our new company
Arnold Creek Productions is
focusing on supporting these programs as well as other
programs on sustainability, and the links below will

Kids Just Want to Have Fun!
& What's the Difference?
Diversity education videos that focus on kids with visible
health conditions and differences.
Children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputations,
neuromuscular conditions, cleft lip and palate, and burn
scars talk openly about their lives and their differences.
Proving that they are more like everyone else than
different, children are seen enjoying such activities as
kayaking, swimming, bull riding, skiing and shopping.
Teachers striving to promote understanding and acceptance
of children with disabilities will find the videos
invaluable. A suggested curriculum, including learning
concepts and discussion questions, is included with each
video.
More Alike than Different
- 8
minutes
A diversity education video that focuses on kids with
non-visible health conditions and differences.
Target audience grades 3 - 6.
Non-visible health conditions don't stop kids from having
fun.
"More Alike than Different" is
a new video featuring kids with chronic conditions such
as epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, hearing loss and
neurofibromatosis. Its upbeat messages from kids with
these conditions help build self-esteem and healthy
perspective among kids with the same conditions. Plus,
this video educates and promotes understanding among
their peers, family members and friends.
"More Alike than Different" is
appropriate for grades K-7 (8 minutes in length)
The video shows the kids practicing karate, enjoying summer
camp, playing soccer, perfecting scouting skills, playing
musical instruments, driving cart racers and joining in
other activities. They share their thoughts about their
lives and health differences, reflecting how they are more
alike other kids than they are different.
I Have Diabetes Too!
- 10
minutes
A diversity education video that reassures kids with
diabetes that they are not alone
and that they too will lead normal lives.
Target audience grades K - 6
Kids who are diagnosed with diabetes are naturally curious
about other kids with this medical condition. They'd like
the reassurance that they aren't alone and that they can
manage it.
"I Have Diabetes Too!" is an
informative and positive look at kids with diabetes. It
features them enjoying all types of fun activities,
talking about life with diabetes and performing standard
blood testing procedures.
This is the perfect video for all families with children
who have diabetes, as well as for schools, pediatricians,
healthcare organizations and diabetes support groups. It's
also appropriate as a general health education tool to
foster a better understanding of kids with diabetes.
