"Behind the Scenes" - Lu'au 2011


Program type: Documentary

Audience: Lu'au event audience, online audience, potential students

Purpose: To showcase the collaborative effort put forth to create this 51st Annual Lu'au at Pacific University. This program was shot the week leading up to Lu'au, and editing was completed the morning of the event, and this program premiered at the onset of the event. Mahalo!

Zimbabwe Artists Project - ZAP


Program types: Marketing

Audience: Web-based, with philanthropic and art interests, especially African art from Zimbabwe.

Goal: To increase visibility of the Zimbabwe Artists Project, which is a small non-profit. Their history is moving, and speaks to my heart. I offered to produce a short program to help promote their efforts of finding markets for this artwork, as well as providing a quick overview of how ZAP started, who they serve, and their mission.

Procedure: This program was shot documentary style in HD in a couple hours. ZAP generously supplied images which we were able to integrate to support the storytelling. The program was delivered on the web, and also on DVD for presentations, or to be looped for show installations.

Enclume Pot Racks


Program types: Marketing and Training
Multiple program project to address various needs of client.

Audience: Potential customers of these high end kitchen fixtures.

Purpose: To showcase and educate the audience to the benefits of the Enclume product line, as well as support the retail sales of their vendors.

Procedure: Edited three programs the same media resources of videotape, still photos, logos, and music.

Burgerville & Make-A-Wish


Program type: Marketing - web

Audience: Burgerville customers and potential customers - social media savvy.

Purpose: To market the Burgerville Gift Card benefit program where a portion of all proceeds goes to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Procedure: Shot interviews in HD. Edited this footage with provided photos and graphics and compressed for the web.

Naturally Successful



Program type: Informational and Training
Proprietary program produced with our sister company Arnold Creek Productions.

Audience: Business people, higher education and MBA programs, local and regional government interested in business practices supporting sustainability.

Purpose: Provide information focusing on building a values-driven business, providing meaningful leadership, achieving results beyond profits, serving customers, thinking long-term, seizing opportunities in new and existing markets, creating a thriving business and embracing a new type of capitalism

SAM Sling I



Program type: Training

Audience: Pre-Hospital, military and wound care professionals.

Goal: To inform and showcase the abilities of the SAM Sling to help stabilize pelvic injuries in patients. Train personnel in the application of this apparatus.

Procedure: Worked closely with the production company, writer, and client to script and plan this series of 15 short training programs.

Autism Service Dogs of America - "Elliot's Class"


Program type: Marketing and Informational

Audience: Web based, with an interest in tools for educating children with autism, and/or an interest in service dogs.

Purpose: To provide education and understanding regarding the use of service dogs in classrooms with children with autism. The program was shot in one morning, and edited in about two weeks. The program was shot documentary style, with the base of the program being the interview we conducted, and then woven together with music and b-roll of these great kids and Elliot, the dog.
